ABOUT ODAPM

ODAPM Mandates

The Office of Disaster Assistance and Petroleum Management (ODAPM), established by Executive Order 006-2014, is a line agency under the Office of the Governor. ODAPM’s main responsibilities are disaster resilience and fuel infrastructure management.

ODAPM

  • assists local agencies with federal disaster grants;

  • leads hazard mitigation planning;

  • oversees the Office of Petroleum Management (OPM), which is responsible for government fuel infrastructure;

  • focuses on ensuring a sufficient and cost-effective supply of petroleum products;

  • maintaining efficient ASG Fuel Facility Plant and Operations that meet quality, safety, and security standards;

  • partners with the American Samoa Petroleum Cooperative (ASPC) to secure petroleum supplies;

  • collaborates with local agencies on fixed assets, ensuring accountability and adequate insurance.
